I’m not very good at introductions, so I thought I’d post some of the things that define me on the blog. If you don’t like it S a D.
I like to race my bike. It’s one of my favorite things. This photo was taken by Dylan Dean Photography at the 2008 Sea Otter Classic. Pretty shit track, but a great time none the less. It was my first race traveling with my new team, the Sol Vista Race Team. I remember I went to pick up all my cash for the trip the morning we were leaving and the damn ATM ate my credit card, so I was moneyless, late and pissed. Great first impression with my new teammates and manager. Racing has given me unbelievable stories, amazing friends, inspiration, and everlasting memories, many of which I plan on sharing here.
I like music, a lot. Music has gotten me through some tough stuff in my life, and I’ve fallen back on it once again this week. I’m not sure if this dependence based relationship is good with anything, but I truly don’t care. I need music and will need if for the rest of my life. That I am sure of. A little band out of the East Bay, California called Operation Ivy has supplied the biggest musical influence in my life. I remember crystal clear the day I bought their album, the Energy EP.

The first lines of the the first album that changed my life. Other bands that I think really matter are The Clash, Rancid, Talking Heads, Coldplay, Black Flag, Alkaline Trio, and countless others. I’m sure music will come through as a pretty popular post topic from me, and Adam as well.
I like TV. Actually I hate TV, but I love to talk about it. So I’m sure there will be plenty of shit talking about mindless shows and retarded cinemas on here as well. I also like to talk about people and the stupid things they do, which should prove to be at the very least slightly entertaining.
There’s all kinds of other shit I like too, and I’m planning on talking about it all. If I offend, good, you deserve to be offended you sensitive fairy. That’s all for now. But I’ll be back.
